If you really want to understand crypto you have come to the right place. If you get the main picture but still feel a little dumb when you read up on crypto and blockchains then you have come to the right place. I’ve come across plenty of intelligent people who feel too intimidated by crypto. When I was starting out, like you, I would often came across these super complex descriptions that use long acronyms and crypto jargon. I wanted to create a course that would be easy to comprehend and set aside all the rich crypto vocabulary. I teach this course like I would teach a 5 year old about the internet. I wouldn’t tell a 5 year old about the internet by talking about TCP/IP and SMPT. Instead I would talk to them about the Amazons, the Googles and the Facebooks of the crypto world. If you understand Amazon you understand how all e-commerce works on the internet. Similarly if you understand Uniswap you will understand how most decentralized exchanges work. In this course I will walk you through specific protocols and how they work. Once you learn about them you will understand 80% of crypto. In this course I will walk you through some main coins and protocols step by step. This way you will understand how crypto works. You don’t need to be a programmer or an economist to understand it. I’ll turn you into a crypto ninja. Knowledge in crypto is layered. For example you can’t understand what Compound does before you understand what Ethereum does. You can’t understand decentralized apps before you understand what a layer 1 is. In this course I am going to walk you through two layer 1 solutions, 2 protocols and one NFT project. All together these will allow you to draw analogies and parallels to the myriads of products that are already out there. This way you will be able to follow discussions with complex terminology and not be afraid of them. Oh! And also this course is not about trading or investing in crypto. At all.
